Welcome to this weeks Friday Favorites! Where I discuss things from the week that I love or have inspired me in some way. If you’re new here, thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you’ll stick around. This week has been really good for me and everything on my project list has fallen into place, which was not the case last week!
Our master bedroom is coming along perfectly and honestly, things ended up better than they probably would have had I not held out for the perfect bed. I have a tendency to rush things due to that little thing called patience which I don’t possess.
This week’s list is inspired somewhat by our master, the colors and brass are totally the look we’re going for and I absolutely love all of these options.
1.Tabitha Rug: This rug is so beautiful! I am totally thinking it would look perfect in our entryway or under a light colored sofa. The antique style is totally hot! Rugs are hands down one of the best decor investments in my opinion. Yes, they can be expensive but are essential to making a space look finished. They also add a textural element to the space so it’s like two birds, one stone. Plus even when you get ready for a change in one space you can always give another space an entirely new look by swapping rugs!
2. Framed Agate Stone Trio: Several months ago I spotted this beauty and before I could snag one it sold out! Don’t you hate when that happens? So I searched and searched for something similar but was unable to find a thing that wasn’t a billion dollars. Yesterday I was browsing for some agate art and there it was in all of its stone beauty! This particular one is pretty large and would look perfect with a light and bright color palette. Pssst, I also chose some framed agate stones for our bedroom.
3. Myers Pendent: Holy moly! Is this not drop dead gorgeous you guys! The shape is amazing and I envision it in an entryway or maybe two over an island. I would totally be cool with one in every room 🙂  The price is so good compared to similar options I have seen for more than $400.00. Don’t get me wrong I will invest in things for our home but I prefer those things to be big items like furniture and I try to save on the decor. So spending $400-$500 on a light of any kind would be tough for me to swallow, that said I think this one is totally something I could deal with.
4. Empress Statuette: We purchased a bust planter last year and I love her but I have always wished I would have purchased one that wasn’t a planter. Probably because I have yet to find anything plant wise that I like enough since it will be protruding from her head :)! So she’s just sitting there empty on our dresser with a hat on. Sometimes I put a necklace on her to jazz her up a bit but I would love to swap for the one pictured.
5. Aldine Stool: Oh my goodness this stool!! The bamboo frame is darling and the mixture of the brass and fur is absolutely beautiful. This could totally be used as a vanity stool or even an ottoman in front of a colorful chair. Also a pair would look amazing tucked under a console table in the entry. The possibilities are endless and the price is great!
I hope you all enjoyed this week’s Friday Favorites and have a wonderful Easter! This weekend is going to be nasty here in Oklahoma, lots of rain in the forecast so I think a weekend full of cleaning will do us all some good and possibly reduce my stress level! Is it just me or do you guys feel off when your house is turned upside down? Hopefully, the rain will hold off long enough for the little to hunt some eggs. I have seen some amazing looking eggs on Pinterest lately, do you dye eggs with your kids? If so what kind are you doing this year?
Here’s a pin you can use to save this post.
