I’m Ashley a 30 something sweet tea sippin mom from Oklahoma with an obsession for all things design, DIY, interiors, lifestyle and the occasional recipe.
This is a space for me to share the things I love, along with some helpful advice and inspiration.
Between the two of us, my husband and I have four kiddos and one adorable pup named Sparkles. We both have day jobs so life can be a little hectic at times but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
When I think about what the word “home” means to me, I believe it should be the one place that we all feel safe, loved and have the freedom to be our true selves. Our homes should be a reflection of who we are and what we’re about and I help others achieve that very thing in their own homes.
Having a beautiful home isn’t just reserved for the wealthy, it is possible to have everything you want your home to be no matter where you are in life.
After living in many homes that lacked personality and didn’t express who we truly are, we began renovating our home one crazy project at a time.
I strive to keep the things in our home as classic as possible to rid us of the need for constant change. When you decorate with items you truly love there is no need to switch things every six months.
My husband Wayne is the muscle behind all of my crazy ideas, he has years of knowledge and experience in construction so that definitely helps out and if I am being honest he makes it all happen. He has the patience of a saint when it comes to work and is very meticulous which balances out my get it done now at all costs mentality.
Still not sure if we could be friends? I love vintage artwork, neutral interiors with a few pops of color, saving money on some pieces but splurging on others, before and afters, pink peonies, marble countertops, vintage rugs, brass everything, tufted furniture and cognac colored leather!
Thank you so much for stopping by and if you think we’d be a good fit I hope you’ll subscribe!
